We are thrilled to be celebrating the first year anniversary of our window covering program through the Design Center! It has been a successful year thanks to positive feedback from our homeowners and the majority purchasing their window coverings through Cedarglen Homes. Since launching, we have also opened the window coverings program to the public, so you no longer need to be a Cedarglen purchaser to benefit. Whether you are a new home buyer or already living in your home, there is no simpler way to totally transform the look of your home then with window coverings.

To our home buyers, we continue to offer pre-possession installs to help avoid hanging those sheets from the windows on moving day. We do require 20% deposits on all our orders but the balance can be added to your mortgage, so you can use those funds for the new sofa you’ve been eyeing.

Huxley III showhome in Walden

In the past year we have opened 2 new showhome parades displaying Maxxmar’s window coverings. The Huxley III showhome in Walden and the Chinook showhome in Auburn Bay allows you to see how versatile roller shades can be. In the Huxley III they take on a modern and clean aesthetic while the Chinook showcases a more transitional look. Both show how easy it is to add fun, colourful drapery panels with the roller shades that can be easily changed with your style while the roller shade remains a permanent fixture in the home.

Coleman showhome in Walden

Our Coleman showhome in Walden displays the timeless look of white polysilk shutters that offer a more transitional look. These shutters can also be seen in our Huxley II showhome in Riverstone. Lastly, our new Huxley showhome in Auburn Bay displays the versatile look of Sunset shades with 3 ½” louvres, giving the windows definition against the white canvas. Sunset shades can easily transition from a modern aesthetic as you see in the Huxley to any traditional styled home.

Since our new showhomes have opened, we have noticed our purchasers are moving away from the slated looking of faux woods to the cleaner and more versatile roller shades. The bonus, is they are comparable in price!

Our Design Team consists of three Designer Consultants, all trained in window coverings that would be happy to sit down with you and guide you through your window covering selections.

Have a good weekend,
