Meet the Customer Relations Representatives

At Cedarglen Homes, we rely on our different departments to not only build our customers a quality home but to provide them with an excellent home building experience as well!  One of those departments that we rely on is the Customer Relations Representatives (CRR for short). The role of a CRR is to provide our home buyers with exceptional customer service. They are responsible for processing the customer’s sale and assisting in Design Center meetings to document the customer’s interior selections. Once all the selections are completed, they walk our customers through their final plans one more time before we start construction. So for this week’s blog we thought we’d introduce you to our amazing team of Customer Relations Representatives.

 

If you’ve recently purchased a Cedarglen Home, then you may have had the opportunity to meet with Customer Relations Representative, Suzanne!   Having worked in the residential home building and land development industry for over seven years, Suzanne came to Cedarglen Homes with plenty of experience.  She had previously worked closely with Cedarglen Homes in Lot Procurement where she was able to develop a good understanding of our corporate culture and knew that we would be a company she’d like to be a part of!  Eventually it was her drive to enhance her skill set by being exposed to more customer service and interior design (which she studied) that brought her to Cedarglen Homes.   Suzanne’s academic backgrounds in both interior design and construction estimating are also huge assets to the team! Suzanne loves been able to partake in customers Design Center appointments, and of course seeing her customer’s excitement when they get the keys to their new home on the day of possession! When asked about her favorite showhome, Suzanne’s experience in design shines through as she talks about the Huxley II showhome at 22 Cranbrook Lane SE, “The Huxley II in Riverstone is stunning! Cedarglen’s designer Sandi did an incredible job on this home. The interior color selections and decor are impeccable. It has a lovely nautical ambience which pairs perfectly with the Riverstone setting.” When she’s not working, Suzanne likes to spend her time working out, going on wine tours, trying out new restaurants and reading or watching all things interior design!

 

Customer Relations Representative, Patricia, came to Cedarglen Homes with a vast understanding of the customer service and interior design industry! Having taken a correspondence course, Patricia started her career in banking where she worked for a number of years in customer service. When she was ready to get back into the market after raising her family, she says she decided to explore the old adage, “Do something you love and you will never have to work another day in your life”. With that thought in mind, she went after her passion of interior design and more importantly working with people to help them realize their dream homes. Since then, she has worked in both residential and commercial design with window coverings, custom furniture, cabinet selection and flooring. Now at Cedarglen Homes, she has found herself able to pursue her love of helping customers. Patricia had always wanted to work for a home builder so that she could see the whole puzzle come together rather just the individual parts. So it’s only natural that what she loves most about being a CRR is hands down possession day!! She says, “I am so marveled at how many people and departments and supplier partners working together in tandem to achieve the final result…a new home for a family!”  When she’s not working she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, visiting showhomes, camping, and walking along the river. She’s also been in the same book club for over 15 years!  Patricia’s favorite showhome is the Manning at 18 Cranbrook Lane SE in the Riverstone of Cranston, “The finishes were chosen with such care…especially the kitchen”.

 

Our newest addition to the Customer Relations Representative team is Kyla. What started off as a membership at our Cedarglen Homes gym, Ascension Fitness, turned into an opportunity when Kyla heard of a job opening. So although she may be new to Cedarglen Homes, she was able to make herself right at home! She has the perfect background for the Customer Relations Representative role as she had been working with customers for years. Her Bachelor of Arts in Communications has also proven to be an asset.  As the rest of her team, Kyla’s favorite part of being a CRR is being able to hand her happy homeowners the keys to their new home on the day of possession! When she’s not helping out Cedarglen Homes customers, she likes to spend her time skiing, mountain biking, travelling and knitting. The Huxley II in Riverstone is obviously a crowd pleaser as Kyla also says that it’s her favorite showhome because of the “gorgeous ensuite bathroom and beautiful island and backsplash in the kitchen”.

 

Although each member of the CRR team has different experience, together they do a great job of providing our home buyers with excellent customer service so that each customer can start the construction of their dream home with confidence!
